So, you may be wondering why the heck we called this site www.bigfurrycat.co.uk , well that is mainly because of this :
This giant ball of fluff is a Maine Coon called Ozzy. You can read more about this very special breed of cat here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maine_Coon. Maine coons grow BIG, especially boy ones such as Ozzy. He was born in 2006 and measures 44 inches from nose to tail, not including his seriously long legs! Luckily for us, he is also a giant softy who loves cuddles but hates being combed! His feet are huge and as a kitten (apologies for awful picture) his ears resembled satellite dishes :
Ozzy is rather confused though as he thinks he is an Andrex puppy :
He loves boxes and bags :
and small holes (thought I was going to have phone the fire brigaide to get him out of here!) :
However, amazingly he is not the Boss Cat in our family :
